USP™ APP BASE is a tough smooth surfaced, APP (Atactic Polypropylene) torch applied membrane. Manufactured with a strong fiberglass mat that is saturated and coated with high quality, non-blown asphaltic bitumen and APP resins for a durable, heat resistant, flexible modified base sheet. The top and the bottom surfaces of the sheet are lightly talced to enable the membrane to be applied with SAFEWELD™ APP Modified Adhesive or torch applied where appropriate. It is designed for use as a base or interply membrane in cold applied APP modified bitumen roof systems or as a base or interply membrane in torch applied APP modified bitumen roof systems.
Application Method: USP™ APP BASE is applied using SAFEWELD™ APP Modified Adhesive or by
using propane torch welding techniques where appropriate. |
