USP™ Insulation Adhesive
Product Description: USP™ Insulation Adhesive is a highly polymerized asphalted based adhesive used for attaching various types of rigid-board roofing insulation to a variety of substrates and to other rigid board insulations. USP™ Insulation Adhesive is used to adhere USP™ ISO-CA, USP™ Tapered ISO-CA, perlite and wood fiber insulation panels to each other and to adhere these boards to structural concrete and gypsum roof decks. The surface to which the adhesive is applied must be clean, dry and free of any loose material.
Advantages: Ideal for areas where hot asphalt is prohibited, undesirable, or impractical. Has excellent bonding strength. Easy application over a wide temperature range, ready for use as shipped. Note: This product is not to be used in conjunction with EPS or XPS insulation or any other solvent sensitive material.

USP™ ISO is a closed-cell, polyiso foam core integrally laminated to heavy black (non asphaltic), fiber-reinforced felt facers. USP™ ISO is also available in 25-psi density formula. USP™ ISO is typically specified for hot asphalt, modified bitumen and single-ply membrane systems. USP™ ISO has one side marked for hot BUR and modified bitumen applications and one unmarked side for single ply and cold applied modified bitumen applications, making this a universally adaptable product suitable for a variety of applications. Available in 4’ x 8’ (1.2m x 2.4m) and 4’ x 4’ (1.2m x 1.2m) panels. |

USP™ ISO/GB Composite (Manufacturered by Atlas or RMax)

|
USP™ ISO/GB Composite consists of a closed-cell, polyiso-foam bonded to a ¼” primed glass-mat gypsum board with a fiber-reinforced felt facer on the bottom. The glass-mat gypsum board provides a dense protection layer for the primary foam insulation and has a 500 psi compressive strength, which makes USP™ ISO/GB Composite a good choice where foot traffic is a concern. The primed gypsum board top eliminates the need for cover boards or vented base sheets normally recommended over foam insulations. Typically specified for use with BUR, modified bitumen and certain single-ply systems. Consult membrane manufacturer for system details. Available in 4’ x 8’ (1.2m x 2.4m) and 4’ x 4’ (1.2m x 1.2m) panels. |
